Ten years ago, employees of one European zoo decided to conduct an experiment. They placed a kitten of a house cat and a lynx kit in the same enclosure to see how the two would get along.
Lynx Linda and kitten Dora quickly started getting along with each other. Since then they've never left each other's side and did everything together: eating, playing, sleeping, and growing up.
A separate house has been built for Dora the cat where she can eat and have a rest. Linda used to try to get into her friend's dwelling, but quickly gave up. She also lets the kitty eat her food. How generous!
Both cats are equal in this couple, although Dora is said to have a stronger character. We willingly believe it!
There is something subtly similar about them, don't you think?
As it turned out later, the kitten has been placed with Linda in order to show visitors the difference between a cat and a lynx, but no one knew they would become best friends.
