Many years ago, Brantley Harrison found a tiny squirrel in the woods. The baby was injured and its mother was nowhere to be found. The kit must have been attacked by an owl, and without human's help it would not have survived. After all, it was winter.
Harrison took the baby home. She had already rescued small squirrels, so she knew how to help them.
The new family member was named Bella. The animal quickly made friends with everyone at home and soon began to recover.
After a few months, when the squirrel got stronger, Brantley let Bella into the wild. Bella did not forget her rescuer and returned to the woman for treats.
The squirrel regularly comes to visit the house where she was taken care of 8 years ago. She boldly comes in and is not afraid of people at all.
