The bride's granddad, Nelson, had suffered a stroke just two weeks before the ceremony. Although he always dreamt of seeing his granddaughter's wedding, he was prohibited to travel from Florida to Virginia.

The young bride decided not to leave Nelson alone and make his dream come true. To make her granddad happy, Natalie took her white dress and flew to another state, 800 miles away from home.

She filmed every step of her journey and then edited into a touching video. Natalie showed how she flew 800 miles across the country with the dress in her hands to have a special moment with her granddad.

In the clip, Natalie is seen to carefully pack her wedding dress in a pink protective bag, and then proudly leave for the airport with a smile on her face. She confessed that traveling with a long white dress by plane was not an easy task.

"Getting the wedding dress through the airport was a struggle to say the least, but it was all worth it when I saw his amazing reaction," Natalie said.

Upon arriving in Florida, already in the terminal, the bride put on makeup to really surprise her grandfather. She arrived at Nelson's house in a big SUV, where she finally put on her wedding dress and showed her granddad how she looked.

The happy grandfather appreciated the importance of the moment, so he also wore a white shirt and a bright red tie to match his granddaughter's look. Despite his recent illness and feeling unwell, Nelson did fulfill his dearest wish and started twirling Natalie in a dance.
