Sometimes we don't expect guests, but they still come. Several weeks ago a woman from San Manuel, Arizona, came home as usual and saw a wild bobcat on her dog's bed. She was shocked, but not confused.

Last month, a San Manuel resident came home as usual, and found an uninvited guest in her living room – a wild bobcat. It was resting in a dog bed surrounded by toys. The woman was shocked, but was not confused and quickly contacted the local Game and Fish Department, whose staff specializes in rescuing wild animals.

While waiting for the rescuers, the woman took a couple of photos of the bobcat. She supposed that the predator had gotten into the house through a small doggie door that had been left open. No such incident had ever happened to teh woman. Before animal rescuers arrived, the bobcat managed to escape from the house through the same door.

According to the Department report, no one was hurt that day – neither the bobcat, nor the dog or the residents. But after the incident, the story was shared online to warn locals that such things might happen. Experts advise that if you find yourself in a similar situation, don't act on your own. Find shelter and contact animal rescuers.
