Donna Simpson from New Jersey has had weight problems since her childhood. Her mother always cooked fat and nutritious food for her daughter and sons. However, it was not the smartest way to show her love for her children.

"She would not let anyone say anything negative about our weight and even argued with the doctors who said it was dangerous," says Donna, who weighed 180lbs at the age of 9.

As she got older, Simpson started feeling uncomfortable about her weight. From 14 to 18 she managed to lose weight to 152lbs, but she didn't become happier because she was just obsessed with food. After graduation, Donna's weight returned, and surprisingly, the woman felt much better.

At the age of 19, she met a steakhouse chef whom she later married.

"He worked night shifts, so he would come home at 2 or 3 a.m. and bring leftovers. We wouldn't go to bed before we ate huge steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy. I started gaining weight fast, and my husband loved it. He said I looked more attractive," Ms. Simpson recalled.

But after her son was born, the marriage fell apart and the 350-pound woman was back to indulge in food.

Four years later, her weight hit the 602-pound mark. Then Donna again thought about losing weight and was even going to have a weight loss surgery. But before being operated on, Simpson learned the sad news about the death of her close friend during a similar surgery. After this tragic event, the woman changed her plans. Donna accepted all her flaws, started to accept her body and even took pride in it.

During those years, her personal life also got better. Donna met the man of her dreams, who only encouraged her unhealthy diet, although he weighed only 152lbs.

In 2007, Donna Simpson welcomed her daughter Jacqueline and was listed in the Guinness World Records as the world's fattest mother. The 531-pound woman needed a team of 30 medics to reduce the risks during labor. She soon realized she wanted to become the world's fattest woman. To gain the desired weight, 1000lbs, Simpson had to eat 12,000 calories a day, six times the recommended daily amount for women. Since food costs are high (she needs about $800 a week), Donna has come up with the idea to create a website where people will pay her to watch her eating.

"I love eating, and people like watching me eating. It makes them happy, and I don't hurt anyone," Simpson says.
