When Rob Adamson, 39, found an injured swan chick, he brought it home and started taking care of it. The man and his chick never left each other's side. They would go shopping or kayaking together; they would even sleep in one bed.

The cygnet had its own box next to Rob's bed, but it flatly refused to stay there as it wanted to sleep only with its human. Cygnet Sidney also made friends with its owner's Chihuahua.

However, one day the swan grew up, and Rob had to hand him over to the animal protection organization where the experts prepared birds for the life in the wild.

However, three months later Rob received a call and was asked to take the bird back, as it refused to adapt because it was missing its owner.
