The British mother-of-three Caroline Quinn, 33, and her husband Mark wanted to buy a house and considered various options. One of them was a derelict Victorian mansion that even their real estate agent was afraid to show them. The villa had long been hidden in the thicket, and there was no plumbing or heating inside. When Quinn stepped inside, she immediately felt at home. A year later, the mansion was transformed into a stunning family home.

There was an old barn behind the house that was joined to the main house during the renovation
In the process of renovation, a modern outbuilding appeared in the backyard, which joined the house and the barn.
The couple converted it into a movie theater and gym
In May 2018, the couple, along with their three children, moved into their dream home. Caroline says that from the very beginning she knew what their mansion would look like. Now she is a little sad that the renovations are over and recalls with a smile that busy but enjoyable time. Together with her husband, they have put their heart and soul into this house, and the old mansion has got a new life.
