Dawn Winfield-Hunt, 54, from Rhyde, UK, was not happy with such a fate of her ivory gown, so she has come up with an unusual idea. She's started wearing the dress every weekend no matter what she is doing. Dressed like this, Dawn has went paddle boarding, grocery shopping, and running.

Every weekend, the woman swaps her casual clothes for an ivory outfit. This is because she feels sorry for it:
"The dress is so beautiful that I didn't want to hide it in the closet like I did when I first got married years ago."
Dawn wears the dress on weekends and doesn't plan to stop
"I want to wear this dress every weekend until my first wedding anniversary and then box it up."
This idea came to Dawn right after her second wedding
"I never intended on wearing my dress this many times, but after our wedding I wore it to a barbeque with friends. They loved it, and I decided it was a great idea to keep wearing it. After all, it not only makes me and Steve (Dawn's husband) have fun, but other people as well."

"When I was at Buckingham Palace, a passer-by asked to take a photo with me and I agreed as it isn't every day, they see someone in their wedding dress outside the Queen's palace."
"Random people always smile when they see me in it and they often congratulate me as they must think I am taking a detour from the ceremony to my reception."
Dawn's husband doesn't object to his wife's unusual pastime
According to Dawn, her husband would be very surprised if she wore jeans and a T-shirt on Saturday. Moreover, she plans to wear her wedding dress for a year.
