Erica Lim, 39, from Malaysia, has an unusual pet. She lives with a duck. Initially, the woman had not planned to keep a duck as a pet. It happened by chance.
Two years ago, Erica bought a fertilized duck egg in one of the Vietnamese restaurants. Such eggs are used to make a dish called Balut. The woman wanted to see if there really was a chick inside, so she placed it in a homemade incubator. Two weeks later, Lim became the mother of a little yellow duckling.
Erica has created an Instagram account for the little duckling, where she shows funny moments from the bird's life.

Erica says that her pet loves water, and often makes her way into the bathtub to splash around

Another great thing about the pet duck is that she lays one egg every 24 hours
The feathered beauty not only loves her owner unconditionally, but also feeds her
They even go to the movie theater together, and the duck behaves very well
Erica's curiosity brought her this wonderful pet, without which she cannot imagine her life anymore. She's learned firsthand that a pet duck is just as good as, or in some cases even better than a cat or dog. Ducks are loyal, gentle, sweet, and won't let you starve!
