Milan Radisics, a Hungarian photographer, often observes foxes from the window of his cottage house in the woods. One of the vixens started coming into his yard. That's how a whole series of interesting shots of the red-coated guest appeared!
Milan would sit by the window of his cottage almost every night for 8 months, observing the life of foxes in the woods. One of them, apparently the boldest fox, started visiting his yard in search of food. Then Milan decided to take a camera and capture each vixen's visit.
"We built a distant, but subtle relationship, something hard to describe, and I named her Roxy. She always surprised me, showing new sides of her personality and quick adaptation to the changes. Adjusting to the presence of a wild animal, I learned plenty about foxes and also about myself and humans in general. Lots of things that will hopefully change people's view that the fox is a pest," the photographer says.
He shared a series of photos he took during the visits of his unusual guest. For high-quality photos, Milan has installed special lights in the garden and also installed a camera trap that takes photos when it detects movement. Some of the pictures were taken with such a camera trap, while others were captured on camera with a remote switch.
