A Twitter user with the nickname @virilvi spotted a little mouse lying motionless on the pavement in early October. The woman thought there was nothing she could do to save the rodent, so she decided to move it out of the way. But suddenly the little one started moving.
The newborn mouse was lying motionless on the pavement, and the woman thought the poor thing could not be helped. She decided to take the rodent away from the pavement but when she picked it up, she saw it slightly move its paw.
On realizing that the mouse was still alive, she immediately decided to help it and house the little animal.
"The universe certainly has a great sense of humor. I was very angry with myself because, as you can imagine, it was the mouse that I lacked for complete happiness. I thought he wasn’t alive anymore, and I wanted to move him out of the way, but he moved his paw, and that’s it, I couldn’t go further," she said.
She studied some tips online and began nursing the baby. She fed him with a dropper, bathed him, and kept a diary of his condition on social networks: "The second day. He finally opened his eyes and looked around in bewilderment. He ate a lot, slept, and even swore at me while I washed him."
After two weeks, the mouse got used to his foster mom and was quite happy with his home life: "My new friend liked to sit in my hands and fall asleep in my shirt pocket. Now he uses it all the time when he has a chance."
Over time, the mouse grew fur and whiskers, got stronger, and became even more attached to his foster mom: "It's been three weeks since his rescue. Going outside with him is possible on the condition that he stays in my pocket. He still doesn't like bathing!" the caretaker writes.
For now, the mouse continues to live under the responsive care of his rescuer and it seems that they have already become friends.
At least the little guy is happy and healthy!
Thank you, kind human, for saving this little cutie! You've already made a difference in this world.
