This emaciated malnourished dog was spotted nestling in a plastic bag on the streets of an Indian village. Due to a severe skin condition the dog was completely naked, so the kind-hearted locals immediately reported him to Animal Aid, an organization that helps animals in India.
When the volunteers arrived at the rescue scene, they tried to take the doggie in their arms but she immediately yelped with fear, like a baby. The little one was very frightened; she must have been abused in the past. Then the volunteers decided to gain her trust first, so they gave her some cookies.
The doggie was so hungry that she immediately started gorging on the cookies, and even climbed out of the plastic bag.
At this point, the rescuer managed to pick her up with a blanket. At first the poor thing tried to fight back, but quickly stopped whining apparently realizing she was being rescued.
At the rescue facility, the entire team took care of the pooch. The doggie was given baths to cure her sore skin, fed on a schedule, taken regularly for walks, and given all love and care she deserved.
After six weeks of such care and unconditional love, the dog couldn't be recognized!
