The kittens Kimchi and Wasabi have been rescued from the street. First, the kittens would not make contact with humans for a long time: they hissed, scratched, and ran away. But at some point, the humans managed to win their trust. Now the kittens give their love not only to people, but also to other animals.

The kittens had been living in a foster home for a month when they got a new friend, a bunny named Kumar. He is an unusual bunny because he suffers from a neurological condition which makes it difficult for him to move around without falling over, yet he remains an active rabbit.

"Kumar is still a happy and healthy boy. He's adapted quickly to our lively home," says volunteer Asa.

The kitten sisters got to know Kumar and were gentle and sweet with him. They lounged with him on his bed to keep him company while Kumar explored his new surroundings.

"Wasabi has become much more comfortable since Kumar arrived. It was the first time she started relaxing on the couch with me," Asa adds.

The kittens support Kumar in all endeavors and the bunny has begun to play and jump around more. Kimchi and Wasabi especially enjoyed grooming Kumar.
