A German Shepherd named Bluebell has recently been reported to animal rescue in Kent, UK. The poor thing was rummaging through garbage and was so emaciated that she looked more like a poorly fox than a dog.
Bluebell is now being taken care of by Swale Borough Council's Stray Dog Service. Local rescuers discovered the dog had a microchip but after checking the missing animal database, they realized her former owners had never reported her missing.
Vets examined Bluebell and, in addition to Bluebell's being extremely underweight, they've diagnosed her with a number of medical conditions ranging from hair loss to tumors. Rescuers have published posts on social media hoping that the dog's owners would be found soon.
