According to Becca Pizzello, the owner of the pit bull named Bubba, her doggie has always loved cats and kittens. Becca adopted the dog from a Phoenix shelter when he was three months old. The pittie is now six years old and has become very friendly with the tiny kitten.
Bubba's best friend, Rue the kitten, was taken from the same shelter.
According to Pizzello, although she knew that Bubba dreamed of having a kitten, she wanted to wait until she moved to New York.
Pizzello also says that Rue thinks Bubba is her mom, and the dog has quickly taken on a new responsibility.
"Rue thinks Bubba is her mom and Bubba loves it," she said. "He bathes her like a baby and snuggles close to her to make her comfortable."
