A couple of months ago Casey, a Border Collie, had run away from the home of his owner's friend Carole Fossett in Spilsby, UK, and there were no news of him for weeks.

Frustrated, Fossett launched a Facebook campaign in hope of tracking down her beloved dog and immediately received three messages from people in different parts of Britain claiming to have seen Casey.

Some time later Fossett was contacted by a Newark and Sherwood local government representative, who informed her that Casey had been caught in a Nottinghamshire park.

It turned out that the dog had covered 50 miles in two months to find his owner.

"I cried. I can't describe it. When you don't hear from your dog for two months, you can't believe you're going to see him again," Fossett says.

Casey, who had lost nearly half his weight in two months of wandering, was happy to reunite with his owner.
