Hearing a pitiful squeak in his yard, Nathan went to the sound... There was a whole family of cats waiting for him in the backyard – a stray mother cat and three babies.

The kittens were covered in fleas, had runny eyes, they were hungry and malnourished.

But the man wasn't afraid of such responsibility. He fed the kittens and then, together with the local shelter staff, they moved them to safety. Unfortunately, while the team was taking care of the kittens, the mother cat went missing... The babies were taken in by the volunteer Nikki.

After just a few days in the foster home, the kittens had completely changed! Having been given therapeutic baths and a course of medication, fleas no longer bothered them.

By then, volunteers had safely found the mother cat, and caught her with a humane trap. She was spayed, vaccinated, and also flea treated.
