Tiny siblings hadn't yet learned to walk or drink their mother's milk, but found themselves alone on the street.

About a month ago Melinda, owner of Bottle Baby Fosters, a kitten rescue organization, got a call about two lost kittens. They were found on the street with injured legs, and the babies needed urgent help. Until Melinda found and picked them up, the siblings had been huddling together the whole time.

Melinda brought the babies to the shelter and started nursing them back to health. The tortoiseshell girl weighed only 3 oz, and her orange brother weighed 4 oz. The little kittens miraculously survived on the street without their mother by their side. Melinda immediately realized that the two were inseparable. They would cry loudly when separated, even for a short time.

The girl, named Bonsai, and the orange boy, Buddha, had injured legs that had to be treated with antibiotics

On their first day at the shelter, the babies slept sweetly for a long time. By the very next day, tiny Bonsai had gained 0.5 oz. Although her injuries were more severe than her brother's, she proved to be a real fighter, patiently enduring treatment.

After ten days under Melinda's care, the babies had recovered and their eyes were fully open

Also, the two love cuddles and belly rubs. According to Melinda, the babies are constantly demanding affection and attention, and get plenty of it!
