39-year-old Samantha Bond from Bristol now manufactures RVs and rebuilds former ambulances all over Europe including Wales, Spain, Portugal, and France. This business allowed the woman to pay off her debts of £30,000.
"I take old ambulances and give them new life as rural rebuilt RVs. Each of them is unique. I first bought an old car in the winter of 2012 in London. It was the start of a new business. A year later I found an identical car and rebuilt it. I sold it almost immediately and thought it was great."
Samantha adds sitting and sleeping areas and makes the vans cozy and homey. All in all, Samantha bought eight former ambulances to turn them into mobile homes. She managed to sell the vans for the price between £15,000 and £18,000 each.
"These projects have given me a new career. I paid off all my debts, and it allowed me to be my own boss. It has changed my life," Samantha shares.
