An elderly dog named Rocky was brought to the shelter by his owner because he could no longer take care of him. Rocky didn't understand why he was abandoned, but he accepted his fate. The staff of the Montgomery County Animal Services shelter, USA, saw at once that Rocky was a very sweet and kind dog.
Rocky proved to be sweet, outgoing, and energetic. For an older dog, he was in great shape and spirits. The shelter staff noted that he was extremely nice to people as well as playful with other dogs. They thought it wouldn't be difficult to find him owners.
But unfortunately, no one wanted to take Rocky. As the months went by, he still lived at the shelter, hoping that one day his owner would come through the door. Although the staff just adore Rocky, Rocky is still waiting for a miracle and is ready to exchange his shelter life for a warm home where he will be loved.
It's been 250 days since the owner brought Rocky to the shelter. Now the volunteers are doing all they can to make sure this boy finally finds the loving home he definitely deserves. Let's wish Rocky would soon meet decent owners. Be happy, old boy!
