Some people believe that animals are not capable of such complex feelings as love, friendship, and loyalty. However, the story of these two dogs clears up all the doubts whether animals can experience strong sincere feelings.
Little CC and the huge Chewbacca from the Iowa Dog Shelter are more than just friends.
Being left without their owners, these two dogs have become family to each other at the shelter.
One day each of these dogs had loving family, but now they are put up for adoption. The reason for this is in both cases a typical one. The family had a baby who soon became allergic to dogs' fur and as a result, the owners gave their four-legged friends to the shelter.
"CC is around Chewbacca all the time, either sitting on him, lying on his back, or snuggling up gently next to him," the shelter staff shares.
Despite the impressive size difference, these dogs' friendship is genuine. During their walks, CC and Chewey always walk side by side.
They always sit side by side in the car either.
