A resident of Essex, England, was driving down the road near a residential area, and noticed a strange abandoned cage right by the roadside. He decided to stop. As he approached it, the man was shocked. There were 20 little puppies inside. The poor, sad-eyed pups huddled together inside the cage and couldn't be looked at without pity.
The man immediately contacted the local RSPCA rescue center, and the pups were picked up by its staff.
"When the man told us how many puppies there were in the cage, I couldn't believe it and thought it was a mistake. They were all scared and shy when we brought them to the shelter," the center volunteer said.
The vets identified that the pups ranged in age from 6 to 8 weeks old, and therefore, were from different parents.
It was impossible to make out the breed, but the puppies were definitely a poodle mix. The pups weighed less than normal for their age, but despite that, most of them were in excellent health.
Volunteers also supposed that the puppies had been dumped this way from a puppy farm.
The center staff is already looking for the loving families for the beautiful babies, and in the meantime, all the pups are cared for in the most affectionate way. Many people have already booked the four-legged friends for themselves. We wish these babies find the best owners!
