Laura is an architect from the United Kingdom. One day, while walking around London, she suddenly saw an abandoned... public restroom. Let's face it, the vast majority of people would hardly be interested in a building of this type. But for Laura it was exactly what she had been looking for! In her head a lot of ideas arose for transforming a banal abandoned toilet into something infinitely better and more beautiful.

The peculiarity of this public restroom is that it is underground. The building was built in 1929, but has not functioned since 1980. No one has set foot in this place for more than 30 years. And looking at the condition of the premises, it was beyond derelict.

Laura did almost all the work herself, from demolishing partitions and building new ones to installing electrical wiring and painting the walls. Laura bought the space in 2011, and in 2016 her project turned from a dream that no one believed into reality.

Laura did a great job! Her creation may not be to everyone's taste, but for the girl it really is a dream home. Every inch here is carefully thought out and equipped with her own hands.
