Ronnie and Sherron Bridges love their unusual pet unconditionally. Even though their adorable buffalo, named Wild Thing, has nearly killed the couple several times, they continue to let the giant animal into the house and please him in every possible way.

The couple from Texas not only allows the buffalo to roam around the house, but also has given him his own room, where the pet can quietly watch his favorite movies. His privileges also include eating breakfast from the kitchen table.

The buffalo is a full family member for the couple. After all, Wild Thing was the best man at their wedding over a decade ago.

Ronnie, 60, and Sherron, 44, sold their herd of 52 buffalo 13 years ago, but decided to keep one calf. The herd had to be sold after Ronnie went blind in one eye and could no longer care for the giant animals.

"It was my idea to let Wild Thing into the house when he was still a little calf," Sherron said. "I told Ronnie we only lived once, so we could afford to do something different."

"He's a bull in the china shop," Ronnie joked. "It's like a car coming through the house."

According to Ronnie, Wild Thing has his own room where he watches TV, though it is necessary to move furniture to let him in. "He likes action movies where the picture moves fast, so the news isn't to his liking."
