Volunteers are no longer surprised to find dumped pets in the woods. But this story is special. Not long ago Kate, an animal rescuer, found a mother cat with her litter in the woods. The "caring" owners left bowls and a pet bed to the feline family, they even didn't bother to remove a collar from the mommy cat. That's how they got rid of the unwanted offspring together with their mom.

"The cat immediately let us take her in our arms, she is very affectionate and calm. And the kittens were not afraid of me, they immediately started playing with me," Kate shares.

A day later, when Kathleen came to the woods to check on the fluffy family again, there were no bowls. Someone had already taken them, not even thinking that they belonged to the little ones. According to Kate, it came as no surprise since she knew cases when a collar was taken off as well.

Now Kathleen is looking for a forever home for the kittens and their mom. Meanwhile, the feline family still lives in the woods since no foster family has been found yet.
