Shortly after Plusha the cat had given birth to kittens, her owner noticed that the new mom would leave her newborn babies alone for several hours a day and go somewhere. Of course, the kittens were constantly crying as they wanted to have their mom by their side all the time.
Finally, Plusha's owner decided to follow her pet to learn the reason why she left her kittens for a long time. It turned out that every day, after feeding the babies, the mom cat would rush into the park, which was just behind the residential area.
When the woman saw where exactly her furry pet ran away, she was just amazed by the cutest sight. Pusha the cat came to four abandoned newborn squirrels to nurse them.
It is not clear how the cat has found these orange babies, but her maternal instinct took over at once. The woman brought the blind squirrels to her house and put them in a box with kittens, so Pusha was no longer torn between her own and foster babies.
The mother cat immediately started licking the orange kits and nursing them, as if they were her own babies.
The owner of the whiskered wonder mom reported her unexpected discovery to the local animal welfare center. Everybody agreed that while the baby squirrels were small, they should stay with the cat.
This is the kind of boundless maternal love that our fluffy friends are capable of. Moreover, sometimes it seems that pets have a better heart than most people in the world.
