Marilyn Monroe is considered to be probably the most famous blonde in the world. People are used to seeing her with curly blonde hair, her lips painted bright red, and her famous facial expression. However, few people know how she looked before becoming a famous actress.
Childhood
June, 1926: Newborn Norma Jeane Mortenson in the arms of her mother, Gladys Baker (née Monroe). Norma's mother had split up with her husband by the time the future actress was born, so the father was not involved in the child's upbringing. A few days after Monroe's birth, her mother placed the baby with the Bolender foster family. Gladys was working hard and couldn't spend enough time with the baby girl.

1933: The 7-year-old curly blonde is very fond of dogs, and they also love her. At this time, her biological mother took the child from foster care, but a year later Gladys was diagnosed with a mental disorder, paranoid schizophrenia. She could no longer take care of Mornoe, and the girl moved to her mother's friend Grace Goddard who took responsibility over the future star.
