"I stopped sun bathing or I should say sun baking at the age of 18," she explained. "I always remove my makeup at night. I sleep on a silk pillowcase and have a great skin care routine that I keep very consistent. I also never neglect my neck and hands. They can be the telltale signs of aging."

Renae grew up in a small town in Ohio, but was always interested in fashion. "We didn't have a lot of money, so I just read the fashion magazines and looked at celebrities on TV, and that really inspired me," she recalled. "Everything I've gone through and accomplished in my life was about 10 years later than what is considered normal," she said. "I feared 30 more than 50. Fifty is definitely a scary number. However, I'm 100 percent more confident and content now at this stage in my life. Maybe it's because my kids inspire me to be my best self."
