Have you ever imagined what it is like to be a supermodel? And while most of us haven't dreamed of a runway model career, the fashion industry has always fascinated and enchanted girls, as proven by the high ratings of the acclaimed show America's Next Top Model. Let's take a look at the new age supermodels who have made an enormous fortune.
After a year-long break in her career, Doutzen Kroes returned to modeling and ranked 10th on Forbes' list of the highest paid models in the world. Most of the supermodel's income comes from contracts with L'Oréal, Piaget, and Repeat Cashmere.
Bella and Gigi Hadid
Forbes ranked Bella Hadid eighth thanks to her $8.5 million income. The supermodel's older sister, Gigi Hadid, doesn't lag behind. Last year Gigi earned $9.5 million. Her income comes from collaboration with many top brands, including such giants as Maybelline, Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok. Contrary to rumors, Gigi does not compare herself to her sister. "Bella and I have totally different styles," the supermodel says.
Despite retiring from the runway, Bündchen is still one of the highest paid models in the world. Bündchen earned $10 million and ranked fifth on Forbes' list largely due to her memoirs and involvement in modeling shows.
Her own lingerie line and perfume and beauty products helped Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rank third on Forbes' list with the revenue of $11.5 million. The model is a mom-of-two, however, as you can see, this hasn't affected her income in any way. Rosie's husband, actor Jason Statham, supports his wife in everything.

Model Chrissy Teigen shares with Rosie the third place in the cherished list. Forbes believes that Teigen's success is due to her social media as well as the release of her second cookbook.
Supermodel Karlie Kloss earned $13 million. By the time she became the second highly-paid model in the world, she had had a decade of modelling experience under her belt and was already very familiar with fame and fortune.
Karlie Kloss' earnings last year were impressive, and yet there is a $9 million gap between her and the world's highest paid model, Kendall Jenner. In just one year, Jenner earned $22.5 million. For those of us who don't belong to the Kardashian or Jenner clan, that's a fabulous amount.
