Kaina was convinced he would never live with a cat. He used to think all his life that felines weren't his thing. Yet for 3 years now, he's been the biggest fan of his cat Stanley. In fact, a very funny story led to Tony' change of heart.

It wasn't Tony who chose to have a cat, it was a cat who chose Tony

Tony lives in his home in Missouri. One day, a stray pregnant cat chose to welcome her kittens in Tony's garden. The kitty must have thought that it was the place where she would feel safe and comfortable enough to give birth.

So Tony came face to face with many adorable kittens and was absolutely smitten. Among the little ones, he chose to keep one, whom he named Stanley after the Stanley Cup, an ice hockey championship that had just been won by the team Tony supported.

Stanley turned Tony into a real cat person

Stanley and Tony have been inseparable buddies for 3 years now. They have a lot of fun together, and Tony has clearly become a cat person. "He's so smart. He plays fetch. He has little mouse toys. I throw them away and he brings them back. He comes when I call him," the man laughs.

Tony succumbed to the charm of this "loyal, loving, and caring" furry friend, and has no regrets about putting aside his prejudices to give him a chance.
