A guy looked out his window and saw the neighbor's dog rummaging in the trash. He didn't think anything could be wrong, but when he saw what she got out of the trash can, he was shocked.
Not long ago the dog had become a mom, but instead of happily taking care of her babies, she started scavenging in the garbage. It turned out that her owners had dumped the puppies as unwanted.
The guy watching this scene reported the incident to the animal control. Fortunately, the dog was able to find her baby. The officers wanted to take the baby away, but the mother wasn't planning on parting with it anymore. So, the animal control officers decided to take both of them to the shelter.
At the shelter it turned out that the dog had lost her milk due to stress, so the staff started looking for a nursing mother who could feed this puppy.
Fortunately, there was one at the shelter.
When the baby grows up, he will be placed with a family. Now the mama dog is finally sure that her baby is safe.
