Gandalf and Galadriel, dachshunds, are happy together and live with their loving owners in California, USA. Gandalf was the first addition to the family two years ago but they soon noticed Gandalf was getting lonely. They decided to get him a friend - dachshund Galadriel. The owners chose his nicknames out of a love for the Lord of the Rings films.

"When we got Gandalf, he had a hard time being alone - he got angry every time we left home. Then we decided to get a girlfriend for him - and that was the best solution!" - says the owner.

The dogs fell in love with each other at first sight. Soon they were doing everything together - eating, sleeping, playing, walking and bathing. It was clear that this was destiny! A few months later, as Galadriel grew up, the owners decided to give the lovers a wedding.

"We decided that this relationship should be celebrated because they are really madly in love with each other," continues the owner.

The ceremony had all the right traditions - the bride's dress and veil, wedding decorations, lots of guests, refreshments, photographer and host. The newlyweds themselves definitely enjoyed their party!

According to their owners, Gandalf and Galadriel are different in character, but they are together nonetheless. The attentive dog Gandalf always shares his food only with his canine companion and no one else. He protects her from all, and she responds to him with complete trust and love. What a couple!
