One day, Hannah and her boyfriend were working in their garden. Suddenly a little kitten came running up to them, looking just awful. The poor thing was soaking wet and dirty. To make matters worse, it was extremely skinny and malnourished. It was not clear how the kitty was able to run and meow so loudly, but the stray was determined to ask humans for help.
The little one was very lucky to meet the couple as they could not leave such a baby in trouble. Hannah took the poor thing in her arms and was about to carry it into the house. But hardly had she gone a few steps when she heard a quiet meow behind her. The girl turned around and saw another tiny kitten, just as wet and dirty. It was the sister of the first kitten.
Hannah grabbed this baby too, and rushed into the house. First she bathed and flea-treated the filthy babies. The baby girl was named Yara and her brother Theon. The boy felt unwell after the bath, but recovered a few hours later after he was given some medicine.
Now the little ones live with Hannah. Yara is a calm and quiet girl, but Theon is growing up a real troublemaker. The boy loves to climb up his owner's leg, and Hannah has to tolerate his claws.
And the little ones are taken care of by the adult dog Bruce. He constantly looks after the babies, and the kittens love lying and sleeping on him.
